What is Assured Access?

Assured Access by Blue Cross is a fantastic product that we recommend anyone covered by a group plan consider. It is very affordable - only a fraction of monthly benefits costs and it provides access to a comprehensive personal health plan in the event you no longer qualify are covered under a group benefit program. 

Group health benefits can be lost for multiple reasons, including career changes, a long-term disability, a leave of absence, or retirement, just to name a few. With Assured Access, you don’t have to worry about leaving your health coverage behind when you change jobs, leave jobs, or retire. You and your family can continue to enjoy lifetime access to health benefits.

How it works: go to MyPersonalHealthPlan.ca and click on Assured Access. This will take you to an application form which includes a health questionnaire. Once approved, you are guaranteed coverage by Blue Cross including medications and treatments required for future illness or new medical conditions that develop.You can convert and choose your level of coverage within 60 days of losing your group benefits.
