Emotional Intelligence

EI involves the ability to recognize, understand and take appropriate action on (manage) emotions and can be improved through training and coaching.

Based on over 20 years of research by Dr. Reuven Bar-On and tested on over 85,000 individuals worldwide, the BarOn EQ-i® measures emotionally and socially intelligent behavior as reported by respondents.

BarOn EQ-i® consists of 133 items and includes four validity indices and a sophisticated correction factor rendering scores for the following components:

Reports

Reports include an in-depth explanation of the meaning of the scores, individual strengths and weaknesses, and actions to improve emotional intelligence. Group Reports are also available to allow you to compare the scores of two groups of employees within your company and evaluate the effectiveness of intervention efforts and training programs.

Web Administration

Employees access a secure website to complete their assessment online. Responses are then scored by HRO CORE and feedback provided can be used in employee development, coaching, and hiring.
